WHY STORIES?
ANY BUSINESS
All organizations are made of humans & humans are made of stories.
Humans have been storytelling since the beginning of time. As a matter of fact it is the reason humans are the most successful species on Earth. It is possible because of a phenomenon called neural coupling . Basically when two brains are exposed to the same story, they synchronize and can perform as a collective. This is only possible in the human brain.
Luckily for us humans are the fundamental component of all organizations. Each of this human is defined by their IQ + EQ .
As per scientist Daniel Goleman after an IQ of 115 all employees, infact all humans have no effectiveness that contributes to the job they are doing. What matters to increase performance is to increase EQ. Hence we need a tool to appeal to human emotion for organizational growth. The best tool , as we have used since beginning are stories.
STORIES AS FILMS
Films change the neurophysiology of a human brain through its narrative and emotionally engaging faculties.
Video is the most popular medium of media consumed across the globe with 81% consumers. But any video will not work. As Aristotle said a story with just ethos - character and logos - logic does not work. It needs pathos - emotion. And in order for a story to have emotion it needs to have a plot.
The novelist E.M. Forster explains

makes it a plot and adds emotion to it. Now imagine the same plot with music, lights, colors, sound, dialogues, visual effects and all the other faculties of a film.

WHAT TYPE OF FILMS?
The type of film to be created, is based on two factors - purpose and audience
Each organizations have custom purpose and goals of their own but they always have two kinds of audiences - internal and external.
The internal audiences are not just employees but also investors, associates, vendors, partners, etc. Similarly external audiences are not just customers but talent, public, society, etc.
Each film is designed to be re-purposeful across time, medium, geography, etc.
The other valuable transformational films are retainer content, which are constant creation and release across a year or stipulated period catering to a constant purpose e.g EVP Films.
